Hello my name is Maria, I am the Owner and Lead Coordinator of MByrne Events. I am a mom of two beautiful boys and love spending time with family and friends. My career background is in Health Care Administration, which has lead me to work in private and public clinics, running the day to day operations, organizing clinic supplies, running patients schedule and leading a team of 5 clerks and coordinators daily which I have been doing since 2012. In 2017 my high school sweetheart got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, later that year is when I started my own journey of planning a 2019 wedding. I quickly realized everything that came with planning my special day sparked the biggest joy! I have spent the last 5 years planning events for family and friends, and early in 2023 I decided to officially become a certified Wedding Planner with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Inc. and take my passion for event planning public.

Christina
In-Take Coordinator and Event Specialist
Christina has been with MByrne Events since the very beginning—even before our official launch—and continues to be a key part of our team. She’s highly organized, collaborative, and professional, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
Christina is the friendly face behind most of our client communications, from sending emails to booking intake meetings. Her clear communication and attention to detail help make the planning process seamless and stress-free for our couples and clinets.

Julie
Event Planner
Julie officially joined the MByrne Events team in 2024, but her history with Maria goes back much further. The two first worked together during their school council days, organizing events and discovering their shared passion for bringing people together.
During the week, Julie works as Child and Youth Worker, but on weekends she loves helping clients celebrate life’s biggest moments. Her attention to detail, strong time management skills, and warm, friendly smile make her a favourite among couples and guests alike. Julie is always ready to jump in and help however she can, ensuring every event runs seamlessly.

Ariel
Event Planner
Ariel is the newest addition to the MByrne Events team, joining in the summer of 2025—but she’s already hit the ground running. Organized, professional, and an excellent communicator, Ariel brings a fresh energy and a strong eye for detail to every event she supports.
She is dedicated to ensuring that each celebration runs smoothly, and her commitment to clients shines through in everything she does. With Ariel on the team, couples can feel confident knowing that even the smallest details are thoughtfully managed.
